About the collective

A neighbourhood ceramics studio in Amsterdam West — teaching, making, and open practice under one roof.

Eva Bakker

Eva founded Westside Clay Collective to give Amsterdam a warm, practical place to learn clay — not a gallery-first shop, but a working studio where beginners feel welcome and returning makers keep growing.

Trained in the Netherlands and shaped by years of teaching wheel and handbuilding, Eva runs intro workshops, multi-week courses, and membership orientation. The room is set up for clear coaching: enough wheels, good light, and shelves that show what careful practice can become.

Whether you come for a single Sip & Spin evening or settle into a five-week course, the aim is the same — leave with skill you can feel in your hands, and a piece that has been finished with care in our kiln.
