Terms of use

These terms apply to the use of assieangio.homes and to bookings for workshops, courses, private sessions, and membership with Westside Clay Collective (Eva Bakker), Bilderdijkstraat 92, 1053 KK Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dutch law applies.

1. Studio services

We offer ceramics instruction and open-studio access as described on this website. Descriptions, prices, and schedules may change; confirmed bookings are those we accept in writing (including email).

2. Bookings and payment

A place is reserved when we confirm availability and you complete any payment steps we communicate. Materials for intro workshops are included unless stated otherwise. Course and membership inclusions are listed on the relevant page and in your confirmation.

3. Cancellation

Please cancel as early as possible. Refund or reschedule options depend on notice period and whether your place can be filled; we will state the applicable rule when you book. Private group bookings may have a separate deposit agreement.

4. Studio rules

Participants must follow instructor guidance and studio safety rules. We may refuse or end a session if behaviour endangers people, equipment, or other makers. Membership requires a brief orientation and adherence to open-studio guidelines.

5. Finished work

Pieces made in workshops or courses are trimmed and glazed by the studio on a typical timeline of about three weeks after the session start date (or as confirmed). Pickup is at the studio; we do not ship. Uncollected work may be disposed of after reasonable notice.

6. Liability

Clay work involves tools, wet floors, and kilns. You take part at your own risk within the limits of Dutch mandatory law. We are not liable for loss of personal belongings. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
